I am Patrycja Wisniewska

Who Am I?

A woman. Daughter, sister, friend, traveler, psychologist.
I specialize in providing psychological first aid in crisis situations and post-crisis development.

I remember when I received my first postcard as a child, depicting a forest path lined with soft moss and illuminated by the rays of the rising sun. Next to it flowed a mountain river, crystal clear, adding serenity and relaxation. Almost immediately, I imagined myself bathing in those sunbeams, surrounded by dense trees and the beauty of nature, walking barefoot on the moss covered with morning dew. That was the moment when I felt inner peace in a world that seemed to be in chaos. For many years, that place was my mental sanctuary, where time stood still, and peace, silence, and nature harmonized to create an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. That place became the guardian of my ideas, reflections, dreams, and plans. I was 5 years old then, with an irresistible desire to explore the world and thousands of questions in my head, and the main one was: why do people behave the way they do and where does it come from? That was the innocent beginning of my love for psychology and neuroscience.

Today, I live in the United Arab Emirates, I’ve traveled half the world, I’ve learned about the cultures, traditions, and beliefs of people living on six continents. I’ve observed their behaviors, reactions, and emotions in various situations. By talking to people about their lives, experiences, dreams, desires, and concerns, I’ve learned more than I could have imagined. Life, however, has shown me that the most difficult yet most valuable journey begins within ourselves. And although the journey to finding life balance is sometimes not easy, I am glad it was bumpy, crisis-ridden, and far from perfect, because it allows me to share my knowledge and experience with you today, to lend a hand when you feel like you’re drowning, to be there when the whole world seems to be against you. To show the way when you are ready and feel that you can do more.

Over the past six years, neuropsychology has completely absorbed me to the point where I have undertaken further studies, courses, and certifications basing my knowledge on international scientific and ethical standards. My hobby has become watching lectures by Robert Sapolsky and Lisa Feldman Barrett, reading publications by Peter Levine, books by Antonio Damasio, Alexander Lowen, Daniel Goleman, or Gabor Mate, and for evening reflections, I’ve been inspired by Victor Frankl. Today, I admit that the knowledge and experience gained over the past few years have not only opened doors for me to understand the mysteries of the human mind, created space for being a light in the thick darkness of crisis but also inspired me to create my own project, my own business 🙂

First Psychological Aid

A crisis is a normal response of a healthy functioning individual to a traumatic/critical event. A crisis can affect anyone of us, and it’s a natural part of life. Regardless of age, gender, status, or other factors, we don’t always manage to find the right tools to overcome a crisis. While a crisis itself is not an illness, without proper support, it can lead to the development of serious disorders. By providing psychological first aid, I work on the RAPID model following the guidelines of the WHO.

What is

Post-Crisis Development

My post-crisis development program is based on neurotraining, which is a process of mental training where you’ll learn the ability to adopt different perspectives. I will show you how to look at opposing ideas with curiosity. You will undergo a transformation: from confusion to clarity and concrete thinking. You will break out of the box of limitations and mental claustrophobia. You will leave your problems far behind and focus on achieving your goals. Until finally, as a result, you will free yourself from helplessness and weakness.
